Library Cards
New cards are available at no charge to all residents. A library card is your pass to information, entertainment, education, and opportunity.
Lost or Expired Cards
Proof of residency is required to replace both lost and expired cards. Expired cards are renewed at no charge. The replacement fee for lost cards is BDT 200.
Borrowing
No more than two (2) books will be issued to any student at a time. Books will be issued to the students for a period of seven (7) Days. After 7 days, the students will be fined TK.5/= (five) per day on each book. After 15 days, the students will be fined Tk. 10/= (ten) per day on each book. After 2 months, the price of the book along with service charge of 20 % will be charged on the students. Any distortion of books will be treated as damage. Use library materials with utmost care.
Lost or Damaged Library Materials
If library material is judged by a department supervisor to be damaged beyond repair and unsuitable for further circulation, the patron shall be charged the price of the item as listed in the owning Library’s database or by the Library’s primary collection development service, plus the technical services processing fee. Replacement items may be accepted with the approval of the Library Chairman.
Our Campus
The present campus of the college is located, 9 KM from The Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport, at Konia of Gazipur City ( near Boardbazar ), the medical college, including the hospital, stands on the Dhaka-Mymensingh highway-just outside the capital city.
The administrative offices and academic departments are housed in a campus surrounded by a picturesque lush green environment of the area.
The buildings are well furnished and suitably equipped to accommodate classrooms, seminars, dissection hall, laboratories, museum, library, students’ common rooms and snack shop.
